During the 19 years the Go For Broke National Education Center has been in existence, its focused efforts built the Go For Broke Monument and established an educational program to teach the public about the significance of the actions of the Japanese American WWII veterans. The magnitude of the Japanese American veterans' sacrifices is significant and much can be learned from their actions - their legacy. There are simply too many people that are not aware of this American story.
